On Monday I saw the new James Cameron 3-D motion picture Avatar.Does this moive have to have the hype that it does?It should because the moive is amazing and awesome.The ending is very epic.But the writing is weak.There isnt much characther devlompent all we now about the main chracther Jake Sully is he is an ex-marine thats it we dont really know what kind of guy he is.There is one characther that looks like a nerd characther but I didnt now if he was one.Thats the reason I didnt like the first 20 mins or so of the moive because the writing didnt pull you in.The real reason to see this moive is for the way it looks and the 3-D.The CGI is great in this movie it uses Motion Capture Tech. and it very well dont esspiaclly when they put the Motion Capture and live action.This 3-D isnt used just to make money its used to put you into this world and make you fell like your there.Some parts of the moive I thought it was going to be over but it dosent mostly because of its long running time of 2hrs and 42mins.But overall this moive is worth all the hype and is for people who are looking for a very fun and exciting moive but if your looking for a moive with good writing you may want to wait till dvd.A must see in 3-D worht the extra money.I give it 9.5 stars out of 10.
